It's Not Too Late for July in the Alpes and the Tour de France!
Self guided options in the Alpes during the Tour de France are still possible. We offer a self guided trip that is 6 nights starting on July 20 in the little village of Freney d'Oisans.
Freney d'Oisans will be your home base for the duration and is a perfect jumping off point to reach all the following routes:
Alpe d'Huez
- Col de Galibier & Lautaret
- Cols de Glandon and Croix de Fer
Other rides include:
- Les Deux Alpes
- Valbonnais

We also give you some tips and tricks for riding some tiny mountain roads that are ideal for accessing Alpe d'Huez, especially on race day, and which offer some fantastic Alpine views and quiet riding ambiance.

1295 euros per person based on double occupancy; includes 6 nights lodging, dinners, buffet breakfasts, route book with maps and cue sheets for all rides, sites on the routes, and information about the region.
